This morning delight is a must at festivals and holidays and it is best served with hot Sambhar, Hot and spicy Vada and scrumptious Coconut Chutney.

Cooking Ven Pongal is a easy one and it takes less time too. Usually Moong Dal is added to the rice in lower quantities, like 100-200 grams for a Kilogram of Rice.
