பிரட் மெது வடை செய்வது எப்படி? | Bread Medu Vada in Tamil | How to Make Bread Medu Vadai in Tamil?

Image
This is a quick and easy evening snack that you can do in no time. Say, if you have a guest arrived surprisingly, making of normal Ulunthu Medu Vada takes much time. And in that case you can make Medu Vada using leftover Breads in your fridge. This is the easiest, efficient and tastier method to do Bread Medu Vada. And the Final result is even better than the normal Vada. It is more crunchier and tastier than the Ulunthu Medu Vada and no one would believe that it is made with bread, unless told them so. You can also make it in the evening and serve it as an evening snack for your kids and your soul mate. This Bread Medu Vada also goes well with Tea/Coffee and you can serve it hot along with the hot Tea/Coffee. But serving it with the Coconut Chutney is the ultimate. Please try this at home and send your feedback as comments in this video. If you like our videos please subscribe our channel to see more videos like this. Thanks for watching.

கேரளா குழாய் புட்டு | How to make Kerala Puttu in Tamil | பச்சரிசி மாவு புட்டு | முழு விவரங்களுடன்

Image
Kerala Puttu AKA Steamed rice cake of Kerala is a quick snack full of delicacy with the famous flavors of Coconut Flakes of Kerala. It is served along with Kadala Curry for a typical breakfast. Rice Puttu with Kadala Curry is the most popular breakfast combination in Kerala. In my family we add sugar to the puttu and enjoy it. It is a very simple recipe that needs only two ingredients, Rice Flour and grated Coconut. There are different ways of doing it and this method is the simplest. But it need the Puttu Maker/Puttu Kudam/ Puttu Vessel. If you enjoy eating Puttu, you can invest a few bucks for this Puttu Maker which makes the process more simpler. You can also serve/eat Puttu with Chutneys or other curries based on your taste and preferences. The one thing I suggest when doing Puttu is that don't use ready made puttu flour. Instead you can use the simple rice flour or as I have done you can start it from the Rice and do it all yourself. This way the aroma and the taste is mo...

நாட்டு கோழி 65 / Naatu Koli 65 / Naatu Kozhi 65 Recipe in Tamil 🍗 by Kuchi Mittai

Image
Homemade version of Country Chicken 65. Very simple and easy. I hate using too much oil in food. In the same way, instead of using lots of oil to get the crispy chicken 65, I used less oil and maintained the heat at optimum/medium temperature. That way the chicken absorbs less oil and at the same time turns out crispy. I added a bit of lemon juice for the tartness in the resulting taste. It gives a distinctive flavor and aroma to the chicken and at the same time retains the hot taste of pepper. You should definitely try this at home if you love chicken dishes. Thanks for watching.

மண் பானையில் நாட்டு கோழி குழம்பு / Naatu Koli Kulambu / Naatu Kozhi Recipe in Tamil by Kuchi Mittai

Image
I wanted to cook in a Mud Pot for a long time, but never got the time to do that. Until recently my husband bought this Pot home. The first thing I've tried is this recipe. The Country Chicken Curry, our traditional one, which I got to know about from my Mom. There is a difference between cooking from Silver or non-stick utensils and Mud Pot. The flavor is unique in Mud Pot. One can say, it is "Man Vasanai". This curry is delicious, spicy and is suited for Rice, Khushka, Parotta and Chappathi.

Empty Salna Recipe I Hotel Style Plain Salna Recipe For Parotta and Chapathi by Kuchi Mittai

Image
Parotta is a favourite street food in Tamilnadu. My kids and my husband likes them a lot. Every once in a while when they ask it for dinner, I have to shrug it out saying there is no chicken or some main ingredients. Then one day when we have gone to a Vegetarian restaurant in Madurai, they served Parotta with a Vegetable gravy that is actually similar to that of actual Non veg gravy and they called it Empty Salna. That’s when it hit me. I tried my own versions, and found out this one which is my best. Now my husband and kids enjoy their favourite dish whenever they want with a new delicious Empty Salna. I shared this recipe with my friends and they liked it too. It is not necessary to use Kashmiri chilli powder. You can also use normal chilli powder. Why I am using Kashmiri Chilli powder is that, it gives the gravy that unique red colour to the gravy. Please do try this on your own and share your feedback in the comments. If you like our videos please do subscribe. Thanks for...

Instant Rava Dosa with Coconut Chutney / Instant Crispy Onion Rava Dosai with Thengai Chutney

Image
Sometimes some food are better only at hotels. Whatever you do, you can’t replicate them at the same taste in your home. The Rava Dosa is one such for me. I’ve tried numerous versions and failed miserably. With proper learning and practice, anything is possible. And at last I started to perfect the Rava Dosa at home these days. This is one of the simplest version. Hope you will like this and it will be much better than the hotel version. This one will surely be done without much effort at home and still is tastes much better than one from the hotels. The most important thing is to serve them as soon as you have prepared it. I have also added the recipe of the perfect Coconut Chutney for the Rava Dosa in this video. Thanks for watching.

Ven Pongal Recipe | Kara Pongal Recipe | Pongal Recipe | How to Make Ven Pongal by Kuchi Mittai

Image
This morning delight is a must at festivals and holidays and it is best served with hot Sambhar, Hot and spicy Vada and scrumptious Coconut Chutney. Cooking Ven Pongal is a easy one and it takes less time too. Usually Moong Dal is added to the rice in lower quantities, like 100-200 grams for a Kilogram of Rice. But I’ve tried 1:2 ratio of Rice and Moong Dal here. Which is again, believe me, turned out awesome. Try this way next time you make Ven Pongal and share your feedback to me via comments.

Badam Halwa /Festival Sweet 🧁 by Kuchi Mittai

Image
Badam Halwa or Almonds Halwa is a delicious 🍨and tasty sweet. I tinkered a bit with the traditional recipe and tried my own version. Instead of putting Ghee all at one time, I divided them into three parts and added them to the mix over three times. Also, the almonds or badam are grind into a coarse paste to feel the almonds. This way the sweet also tastes much good. Now you don’t need to rush to Bakery or Pastry shop to purchase sweets every time a guest arrives or your children asked for one. 🤟 You can do this Badam Halwa in minutes and it tastes much better than the traditional sweets from shops. Please try it once and you will be delighted to see you can also make your own delicious sweets at home. 😀👍😉 Thanks for watching. Please come back for more cooking videos like this. Paneer Butter Masala Recipe | Paneer Butter Gravy Recipe by Kuchi Mittai

Image
Hi friends, This time I’ve tried Paneer Butter Masala and it turned out better than I thought. I’ve not followed the hotel style and experimented with various spices. Especially the Kashmiri Chilli 🌶 Powder rather than normal one. What I dislike most about hotel or restaurant style Paneer Butter Masala is that they add artificial Colors and flavours for taste and look. Even after washing hands, the hands look red with the Colors they’ve added. So I avoided adding any artificial Colors or flavours. If you have any feedback or comments, please share it in the comments section. Thanks for watching.

Medu Vada Recipe | Ulundu Vadai Recipe | How to make Medu Vada at Home | Medhu Vada Recipe

Image
Vada is one another thing that you can’t take from the life of people like us from Tamilnadu. For most of us it is a break snack. I still remember going to the nearby Nair tea shop from our college in the breaks and eat hot Medhu Vadas (or Uluntha Vada) accompanying with the hot Tea. That is a pure bliss for every foodie out there. I have tried numerous time to replicate that same taste and failed considerably. But what I got in turn through my experiments are a much better version of it. If done right, this is the best tasting snack that can be done simply easy. Vadas are best shared with Chutneys. My favourite combo is Vada with Coconut Chutney. And the second best is Vada and Sambar (specifically it has to be dunk in the plateful of Sambar). Do try it and share your feedback. Image
Hi friends, There are days where guests come to our home surprisingly or when my hubby or children asks “Sapda ethavathu iruntha kuduma” (meaning give us something to eat Mom). And when I have nothing special at home, I get tensed and look for something to do asap. But under pressure nothing will come to my mind. Then, one day it suddenly occurred to me. An easy, quick and instant sweet that can be done in minutes. The heavenly Kesari. My hubby and children likes them a lot. And I do them at every festival in the morning and share them with the family and neighbours. Now I’ve also included them as a snack whenever a guest arrives or a sudden need for treat arises. One thing I forgot to mention in the video. That is, for every cup of Rava, you have to use a cup of Coconut Milk and a cup of Water. Thanks for watching. Whole Wheat Bread - Easy and Healthy Recipe 🍞by Kuchi Mittai

Image
I’ve already shared how to make a bread simply and easily in the previous video. This one is very similar to that one except we use Whole Wheat flour instead of all purpose flour/Maida. And I’ve made some changes to get the maximum health benefits without affecting the taste much. I’ve used flax seeds powder along with the Whole Wheat flour. You can also use other whole grains or nuts either powdered or as granules along with it, if you want. I’ve added honey in this recipe as a sweetener and also as an activator for yeast. You can use sugar or any sweetener you like.   Thanks for watching. If you like our videos please do subscribe our channel and if you have any feedback please share it in the comments.

South Indian Biryani Masala by Kuchi Mittai

Image
What makes a South Indian Biryani so special is the special spices masala (which is shown in this video), various herbs and spices, the way they are mixed (ratio) and their aroma. Most of us simply bought the ready made powders from the shops. But it lacks the freshness, aroma and the taste of the home made masala. Also the ready made masalas came with preservatives and additives and some even go to the level of adding artificial flavours and colours (i.e., chemicals). The biggest advantage of creating your own is that you can do it as you like. If you like more spicy you can add a little or vice versa. You can also add things to your own likings. The result is a fresh and spicy masala and in turn a wholesome tasty Biryani. This is my minimal and the simplest version of Biryani Spice Masala. You can add chilli and other ingredients to your own liking. Please share your feedback in the comments section. Thanks for watching.

Flax Seed Dosa | Variety Dosa - Easy and Healthy Recipe by Kuchi Mittai

Image
Nowadays, we are getting very conscious about health and what we eat. We are loaded with information day by day and get crowded with them. So even if we know about certain super foods, we couldn’t give proper attention to them. Not only that, we are also accustomed to our old self and feel lazy to try out new things. Take Flax Seeds for example, we know about them. But we do not know how to include that in our meal or how to cook them or we simply do not want to try anything new with our busyness. I gave a lot of thought on this and tried to incorporate these super foods that are super healthy and also aids in weight loss in to our existing meals. One such is this Flax Seed Dosa. This is very simple and easy and less time consuming. You can simply grind the flax seed and add the powder to the dosa batter. The taste doesn’t differ much and you get the same crunchy dosa and you can enjoy it with Sambhar and Chutney. My preference is Peanut Coconut Chutney. You can see how to do my o...

Indian Authentic Masala Tea - An easier Immunity booster drink ☕️ by Kuchi Mittai

Image
This authentic Indian Masala Tea is made by brewing the tea with various aromatic Indian herbs and spices that carry loads of medical benefits. I added my favorites - ginger, cloves, cardamoms, pepper and cinnamon. Cinnamon and Cloves helps in boosting our immunity. You can add various other herbs and spices that you like. This tea is rejuvenating and helps you with sore throats. It can be used as a relief for cold (you can add some lavender for the maximum benefit). Also, you can skip milk if you’re lactose intolerant or you don’t like milk. Instead you can make it with water and drink as a black tea. In case of sweetener you can add Jaggery or sugar or honey or palm sugar. I like the combination of one tea spoon of palm sugar with a half tea spoon of honey.
